What is the best time to visit Bali?

Bali enjoys a tropical climate, so it’s generally warm year-round. The dry season (April to October) is considered the best time to visit, with less rainfall and lower humidity. However, the shoulder seasons (May/June and September/October) offer a good balance of pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

Do I need a visa for Bali?

Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality.  It’s essential to check the latest visa regulations for Indonesia based on your passport.  We can provide general guidance, but it’s your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary travel documents.

What currency is used in Bali?

The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the official currency.  US dollars and other major currencies are widely accepted at money changers and some businesses, but it’s generally more convenient to use IDR.

What language is spoken in Bali?

Balinese and Indonesian are the primary languages. English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

Are credit cards widely accepted?

Credit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and larger shops in tourist areas. However, smaller establishments and local markets often prefer cash. It’s always a good idea to carry some IDR.

What is included in your airport transfer service?

Our airport transfer service includes a private car with an English-speaking driver who will meet you at the airport and transfer you directly to your accommodation.  We can also arrange transfers from other locations.

Can you arrange transportation within Bali during my trip?

Yes, we can arrange various transportation options, including private drivers, car rentals, and motorbike rentals, depending on your needs and preferences.

Do you offer tours in languages other than English?

While our standard tours are conducted in English, we can sometimes arrange tours in other languages upon request, subject to guide availability. Please contact us for more information.

While we primarily focus on tours and accommodations within Bali, we can offer guidance on flight options and connect you with reputable travel agencies for flight bookings.

What is the typical group size for your tours?

This varies depending on the specific tour. Some tours are private, while others may have a small group size.  We can provide details on the group size for any tour you are interested in.

Are your tours suitable for children?

Many of our tours are family-friendly, but it’s essential to check the specific tour details and discuss your children’s ages and interests with us to ensure suitability.

Can you cater to special dietary requirements?

We can often cater to special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) with advance notice. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions when booking.

What should I pack for my trip to Bali?

Pack light, comfortable clothing suitable for warm weather.  Essentials include swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, and comfortable walking shoes.  If you plan to visit temples, it’s respectful to bring a sarong (a traditional Balinese cloth).

What if I have a medical emergency in Bali?

Bali has several hospitals and clinics.  It’s crucial to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses.  We can assist you in finding appropriate medical care if needed.
